Apple: The Flying Cholitas
As part of the global editorial strategy for Shot on iPhone, I focused on capturing cultural stories from around the world. One of those projects was The Flying Cholitas, an association of female wrestlers in El Alto, Bolivia whose creativity and strength have inspired women across the country to celebrate their cultural pride. I partnered with photographer Louisa Dorr to document the story through powerful stills and led the creative direction while managing the remote film team and photography. The project went on to win an American Photography Award and became one of the standout cultural pieces in the Shot on iPhone series.
